The RC800 Mine Exploration RC Rig is engineered for reliable and flexible mineral exploration drilling across a wide range of geological conditions. Designed to balance performance, mobility, and operational simplicity, the RC800 is well suited to exploration contractors and mining operations requiring dependable depth capability without excessive rig mass.Powered by a 70 HP deck engine and delivering up to 4,500 Nm of torque, the RC800 achieves drilling depths of up to 448 metres with 4” RC rods and 373 metres with 4.5” RC rods, depending on configuration. The rig supports multiple drilling methods, including Reverse Circulation (RC), Down-the-Hole (DTH), Air Core, and Mud Rotary, making it adaptable to different exploration requirements. The rig features a chain-free hydraulic feed system, a reduction gearbox top head, and hydraulic head tilt for safe and efficient rod and casing handling. Operators benefit from an easy-access control panel with clear visibility, while safety is enhanced through hydraulic outriggers, rated air lines, and optional hands-free breakout systems. The RC800 can be supplied as a track-mounted unit with a robust undercarriage for off-road and remote terrain, or as a truck-mounted configuration for improved mobility between sites. Multiple compressor options are available to suit specific drilling programmes, with integrated foam and lubrication systems supporting consistent drilling performance.A full technical specification sheet is available for download, providing detailed hydraulic, structural, and performance data.
